At Paloma Pictures, we will showcase strong storytelling by collaborating with a skilled team of film makers! We will aim to establish a high standard with well-made movies that inspire and unite audiences for a shared entertainment experience!

A brief tale centers on a young man who is heartbroken over his ex-girlfriend's engagement. Overwhelmed by sorrow and dark thoughts, he feels adrift in his emotions. Yet, as he battles to accept this painful change in his life, an unexpected twist is on the horizon!

SPENCER LOUCKS as Chester

Spencer Loucks is an actor and writer from Iowa City. He started acting in college after taking some theater classes and being in short film school projects.  He likes to entertain people and also likes playing video games.

RACHEL WILLIAMSON as Jessie

Rachel is an actress and voiceover artist from Omaha, NE. She has starred in national commercial, film and TV projects. In 2023, she joined a professional improv troupe and performs on-stage from coast to coast. Rachel will be making her writer/directorial debut in 2025 with her short film, “JUICE”.

Vienna Maas was born in Omaha, NE. She started acting at age 5 as Lulu in the First National Tour of Waitress The Musical. Since then, she has appeared in such films as ‘Ghost Game’ (Sam), ‘The Garage’ (Kid Trisha), ‘Rosie’s Watch’ (Rosie), The Stylist (Flower Girl), and Chloe in the television show ‘Mister K’s Clubhouse.’ Vienna is active in her community theaters. Some of her favorite roles include Mary Lennox in Secret Garden, Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol, Brigitta in The Sound of Music, and Susan in White Christmas where she was nominated for an OEAA award. Vienna has been in multiple commercials.

Marissa Leraas is a 21-year-old actress from Dallas, Texas. Though she started with humble beginnings on a community theatre stage in her southern suburb, her acting has now taken her to Northwest Iowa where she is completing her bachelor’s degree in Theatre. During her time in classes, rehearsals, and on the stage, Leraas has successfully achieved the triple threat. Some of her accolades include the gender-swapped role of Queen Basilia in the Spanish Golden Age Play Life is a Dream, Matilda in Matilda the Musical and most recently – the Prince in The Little Prince. Leraas looks forward to continuing expanding her horizons through more screen and short film acting as well as the pursuit of being in the director’s chair herself. Leraas would like to thank Roy for this opportunity, her wonderful professors and directors who have faithfully trained her, and of course her loyal scene partner, Jack MacGregor.

is a passionate visual storyteller with over 20 years of experience in design, creative arts, and cinematography. As a director of photography, executive producer, and video editor, he brings a unique creative vision to every project, capturing stories that are authentic, impactful, and engaging.

CHRIS CARY Sound Engineer, Boom Operator, Grip and Lighting

Chris is a seasoned audio professional with over 30 years of experience in live sound, studio recording, and music production. This experience has led to a deep understanding of the evolving audio landscape. As a musician, he recognizes the pivotal role of audio in the creative process. His expertise as a producer, writer, and mix engineer is enhanced by his growing proficiency in Dolby Atmos, allowing him to deliver truly captivating audio experiences.

ROY TREVINO writer and executive producer

For over two decades as an experience graphic designer, Roy has always had a deep passion for storytelling. The long journey has honed his eye for detail and deepened his understanding of effective communication through design. He finds joy in writing and crafting stories that explore different perspectives and emotions. This synergy between work and play keeps him motivated and constantly evolving as a designer and as an artist!
